Why did we start WAIVERFORM®?
Whilst taking part in a few of these higher risk activities, I noticed that many of them were still using paper based waiver forms. After hearing the sad news about a diver having a heart attack whilst we were out snorkeling, it led me to consider the information that had been collected before our activities were undertaken.
In turn I began to take notice that whenever we completed registration or waiver forms, with other activity tourism companies, just how often important information these forms collected inadequate information. A lack of emergency contact details, health or medical details, or ability for a sport which was surprising especially with the high-risk activities.
…the idea of WAIVERFORM® was born!
After some further research and investigation in to this problem, I set forth to create the WAIVERFORM® suite of applications. To assist in the capture of correct data, without causing any friction to the end user, and in fact speeding up the process of capturing information and waiver signing. Also making it easier for companies to incorporate the information gathered, and use it in their business planning that would otherwise not be utilised or would take a large amount of man hours to input and process the data.
